Lifetime Limited Warranty: Built to Last, Covered for Life

At Squatch Rods LLC, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every custom rod we build. While we use top-tier materials and skilled craftsmanship, we know that defects can happen and all rods can break—even the best ones. That’s why we offer a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Why You Can Trust Us:

• Quality Craftsmanship: Every rod is hand-built with care, but we understand that wear, defects, or accidents can occur.
• We’ve Got Your Back: Whether it’s a defect in the material or an unexpected break, we’ll be here to help.
• Lifetime Coverage: For as long as you own the rod, if it’s a manufacturer’s defect or a craftsmanship issue, we’ll repair or replace the rod blank and components.

What’s Covered:

• The rod blank ONLY and key components (guides, reel seats, etc.) are fully covered IF they are found to be defective.

Distinguishing Defects from Accidental Damage:

  • Our warranty covers defects in materials or craftsmanship under normal fishing conditions. However, breaks caused by accidents, misuse (such as shutting the rod in a car door or stepping on it), or excessive stress beyond normal fishing use are not covered.

Labor Costs:

• YOU ARE responsible for any and all labor costs to rebuild or restore the rod. This includes custom work, such as thread wraps, decorative details, or intricate builds. If the rod needs to be rebuilt or customized again, the labor will be billed to you—even if the break involves a covered component.  NOTE:  Labor costs vary based on the complexity of the rebuild, and you’ll receive a quote before any work begins. If you do not want the rod rebuilt by us that is okay, we will replace the blank only.

Turnaround Time:

        • Typical Turnaround: We strive to complete repairs within 2-3 weeks after receiving your rod. Busy Season Notice: During peak fishing seasons, when our team is experiencing a higher volume of orders, turnaround times may be longer. We will keep you updated on any delays and provide an estimated completion date once we receive your rod.

Non-Transferable Warranty:

• This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. If the rod is sold or transferred to another owner, the warranty will no longer be valid. MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE @ Squatchrodsllc.com under the warranty/register tab.

Hassle-Free Claims:

Simply register your rod, and if something happens, we’ll handle the rest. You send it in, and we’ll fix it (labor cost required) or send a replacement. We want to make sure you can fish with confidence, knowing we’ve got your back!

All Squatch Rods blanks sold directly to the public or to non-official Squatch Rods builders come with a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects ONLY.

What’s Covered:

• Structural defects in the blank material (e.g. delamination, cracking, or failure due to poor construction)

What’s Not Covered:

• Damage from misuse, neglect, high-sticking, or improper rod building techniques.
• Damage caused during transportation or while in use.
•Any rods built by unauthorized builders or third parties using our blanks

Important Notes:

• Proof of purchase is required.
• Warranty applies only to the blank itself not components or labor used in the build.
• We reserve the right to inspect any returned blank before approving a claim.
• If found defective, the blank will be replaced with a similar model or store credit will be issued if that model is no longer available.
